Hannibal Media has acquired the rights to Alpha, written and directed by Mario Van Peebles (Armed, USS Indianapolis: Men of Courage, New Jack City).

In this timely action story an ambitious young LAPD officer goes undercover to infiltrate a group of suspected eco-radicals, but finds himself falling under the spell of its charismatic leader.

This project marks the fourth collaboration between Hannibal and Mr. Van Peebles. Producer Richard Rionda states “Mario is a legend and a great friend. We are thrilled to re-team with him on this fresh and ambitious project”.
